Sharjah Police have unveiled the results of a three-year crackdown on drug trafficking, arresting 4,757 suspects and seizing drugs, psychotropic substances, and criminal assets valued at approximately Dh392.8 million. The figures were announced at a forum held at Sharjah Police Headquarters on Thursday, organized to mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Officials detailed that the operation included the seizure of more than 11.5 million psychotropic pills and 3.39 million grams of narcotic substances, the blocking of 3,160 websites, and the handling of 3,632 drug-related cases between 2023 and 2025.
