Shein ouvre mercredi cinq boutiques dans des BHV de province 24.02.2026

Shein is set to open five new boutiques within BHV department stores in Limoges, Angers, Dijon, Grenoble, and Reims on Wednesday, four months after facing public backlash for its initial store opening at BHV Marais in Paris. This expansion stems from a partnership between Shein and Société des grands magasins (SGM), the operator of BHV, which was announced in October. The regional openings were previously postponed in mid-November due to controversy surrounding inappropriate items found on Shein's third-party seller platform. The new Shein spaces, ranging from 500 to 1,000 m2, will initially offer a similar "winter" collection, with seasonal and locally tailored products to be introduced from April. Shein will manage inventory and product selection, while SGM will oversee sales staff, with SGM receiving a commission on sales. Despite initial challenges at the Paris store, Shein claims significant popularity among French consumers outside major cities.
