In Baling, a retail shop worker in Kampung Kuala Lesung, Kuala Ketil, sustained injuries during a robbery on Monday, June 1st. At approximately 8:45 PM, four masked and helmeted suspects in a white car approached the victim, who was in his 20s. One of the assailants wielded a machete, striking the victim and causing minor back injuries. The robbers absconded with cash. The victim received treatment at Hospital Baling. Baling OCPD Supt Brandon Anak Richard Joe confirmed the incident and stated that police are actively searching for the perpetrators, investigating under Sections 395 and 397 of the Penal Code for robbery with hurt.
