Sikorski and Kosiniak-Kamysz Ahead of NATO Summit. "The Goal Will Be to Show Putin Western Unity" 03.07.2026

On Friday, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met with his Ukrainian counterpart Andriy Sybiha in Warsaw. During a press conference, Sikorski emphasized that Poland speaks with one voice on security matters, and that patient diplomatic work is necessary in relations with Ukraine, which "prefers silence over public demonstrations." The Foreign Minister noted that it is important for emotions to subside and for both countries to focus on their interests. A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the talks addressed resolving bilateral tensions, military cooperation, and the development of economic relations, with a historical dialogue based on truth being key to improving relations, as exemplified by progress in exhumations.
