Six individuals, including four National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, died on Wednesday in a head-on collision between a military Gun truck and a commercial Hummer bus on the Girei-Song road in Adamawa State. The accident occurred near Narehi in the Girei-Girei Local Government Area. The commercial bus, traveling from Yola to Mubi with five passengers, flipped and caught fire after colliding with the military truck, which was en route from Gombi to Yola. All five passengers in the Hummer bus perished in the fire. A single military personnel also lost their life in the crash. The victims' bodies have been taken to the Specialist Hospital in Yola.
