On Sunday evening, celebrations for the feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius, organized by the Government Office, will take place at Devín Castle, which will be closed to the public. According to information from the SME daily, all MPs from the coalition parties Smer, Hlas, and SNS were invited to the event. From the opposition Progressive Slovakia (PS), only Deputy Speaker of Parliament Martin Dubéci received an invitation, which was confirmed by the head of the parliamentary group, Zuzana Mesterová. Other PS MPs, including Mesterová, did not receive invitations, and Dubéci does not plan to attend the event either. "We will not support this closed, expensive 'papalášizmus' (elitism)," Mesterová stated.
