Snack mixes recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination 07.05.2026

John B. Sanfilippo and Son, an Illinois-based food manufacturer, has initiated a voluntary recall of several snack products due to potential Salmonella contamination. The recall encompasses nut mixes and a corn mix sold under the brand names Southern Style Nuts, Fisher, Squirrel Brand, and Good & Gather. The affected products utilize dry milk powder previously recalled by California Dairies. While the seasoning tested negative for Salmonella before use, the company is taking this precautionary step. The Good & Gather Mexican street corn-inspired trail mix was sold at Target, with other products distributed through various retail stores, online, and via QVC. Consumers are advised to return affected products for a full refund or replacement.
