Sociologist Roman Pudmarčík from the Ipsos agency analyzes the low expected turnout for the upcoming referendum in an Aktuality podcast. According to a survey conducted by the agency approximately one week ago, 26.5 percent of eligible voters declared their willingness to participate. However, Pudmarčík expects the actual turnout to be even lower due to a combination of several factors. These include the summer date, when people are on vacation, as well as the spread of the narrative that the referendum is pointless. If this trend is confirmed, turnout could fall to as low as 15 percent.
