Solidarity Ministry Launches New Support Package for People with Disabilities and Simplifies Integrated Services Card Procedures 05.07.2026

The Ministry of Social Solidarity has announced a new package of measures aimed at supporting persons with disabilities and facilitating the issuance of the Integrated Services Card. The facilities include exempting individuals with permanent disabilities from undergoing medical re-examinations upon renewal, reducing waiting periods, and granting a deadline until the end of the year to transition from paper cards to a digital system. Additionally, the Ministry is working to provide job opportunities for 1,177 individuals and offering rehabilitation and psychological support services through 584 rehabilitation agencies. In the educational sector, the Ministry supports thousands of students with disabilities by providing technological devices, scholarships, and sign language interpreters to support deaf students in universities. These comprehensive steps aim to govern the Integrated Services system and ensure an inclusive environment that guarantees the rights of people with disabilities across all educational, professional, and social fields in various governorates of the Republic.
