On July 5, Jacob Francis Nzwidamilimo Mudenda, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Zimbabwe, arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, for an official diplomatic visit. Upon his arrival at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the Zimbabwean parliamentary delegation was formally welcomed by Mahir Suleymanli, the Head of the Milli Majlis Working Group for inter-parliamentary relations with Zimbabwe, alongside several other local officials. The primary objective of this high-level visit is to facilitate a series of strategic meetings between Speaker Mudenda and various Azerbaijani officials. These discussions are intended to exchange professional opinions and explore various avenues for the continued development and strengthening of bilateral relations between the two nations. This diplomatic mission marks a significant step in fostering closer parliamentary cooperation and strengthening the existing ties between Zimbabwe and Azerbaijan.
