Ukrainian cellist Stas Fekete performed a benefit concert on Sunday, February 22nd, at the Saint-Joseph church in Alès, France, to support the association "Soutenez les Orphelins Ukrainiens" (Support Ukrainian Orphans). The concert, organized by the Salindres-based association, featured a diverse repertoire ranging from classical composers like Bach and Vivaldi to contemporary artists such as Scorpions and Metallica. Proceeds from the event will fund the purchase of school supplies for Ukrainian children and orphans affected by the ongoing war, specifically those in the Zaporizhzhia region. This initiative aims to ensure continued access to education for these children amidst the conflict, which is now in its fourth year. Donations can be made via the Helloasso website, and a sponsorship program called "Cœur à cœur" is also available.
