KwaZulu-Natal Transport and Human Settlements MEC Siboniso Duma has issued a public warning about a surge in fake traffic fine scams threatening recipients with arrest unless they make immediate payments through fraudulent links. Duma noted an influx of complaints, including from people who do not own vehicles, and instructed officials to educate the public about legitimate payment channels.
