One week after the murder of Diana Marina, it was reported that the suspected feminicide, Fernando “N”, died on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Amecameca, State of Mexico, after being shot by federal authorities. According to reports, Fernando “N” took refuge in Amecameca after murdering his partner in Saltillo, Coahuila, on July 6, just ten months after proposing to her. Federal agents managed to locate him, but while attempting to escape arrest, the subject was shot and taken alive to the Valentín Gómez Farías General Hospital, where he died while receiving medical attention.
