Svenska soldater ska stärka Nato i Finland 09.04.2026

Sverige kommer att bidra med cirka 600 soldater och officerare till en Natostyrka i norra Finland, som syftar till att avskräcka ryska angrepp. Enligt en regeringsproposition ska en bataljon, baserad i Boden, avsättas till Natos framskjutna närvaro i Finland (FLF) och även kunna verka i Sverige och Norden. Vid behov kan styrkan utökas till 1 200 soldater. Andra nordiska länder, Frankrike och Storbritannien bidrar också till denna styrka, vars högkvarter i Finland huvudsakligen består av stabsofficerare.
