SYMECO launches a general strike in public hospitals starting Friday, July 3 03.07.2026

The Syndicat des médecins du Congo (SYMECO) has officially declared a generalized work stoppage across all public healthcare facilities in the Democratic Republic of Congo, effective Friday, July 3, 2026. This decision was communicated to the Prime Minister via an official letter, a copy of which was received by Radio Okapi.
