A notable change is the elimination of the "minister for" title, with all positions now designated "minister of," regardless of budget responsibility. The Ministry of Economic Affairs will now also encompass Climate, absorbing the former Ministry of Climate and Green Growth. State Secretary Aerdts (D66) will oversee digital affairs, and Minister Vijlbrief (D66) will handle social security reforms, including AOW age increases and WW/WIA benefit reductions. The cabinet will hold a "start council" meeting today to define its identity, followed by official swearing-in by King Willem-Alexander on Monday, February 23rd, and a media presentation that evening.
