Tanner Horner Familie: Was wir über seine Mutter und Ex-Freundin wissen, während er der Todesstrafe gegenübersteht 06.05.2026

A Texas jury sentenced former FedEx driver Tanner Horner, 34, to death for the November 2022 kidnapping and murder of seven-year-old Athena Strand from her Wise County home. Horner pleaded guilty to capital murder and aggravated kidnapping on April 7, claiming he panicked after an incident, while prosecutors argued deliberate intent. Authorities found Strand's body two days later; the medical examiner determined she died from blunt force trauma, smothering, and strangulation. During sentencing, Horner's ex-girlfriend Reba testified that their relationship ended because he was not ready to be a father and wanted to focus on music, and she expressed deep concern about his mental state. His mother, Mrs. Horner, described a traumatic upbringing involving abuse, addiction, and multiple rehab stints, noting Horner was diagnosed with Asperger's and ADHD.
