Tattooist 'shocked' to win pottery show 14d ago

Fynn Allen, a 37-year-old tattoo artist from Redruth, Cornwall, has been crowned the winner of Channel 4's The Great Pottery Throw Down 2026. Allen triumphed over 11 other contestants in 20 challenges filmed at the Gladstone Pottery Museum in Stoke-on-Trent, earning the title of Britain's Best Home Potter. He described his victory as a "big shock," admitting the win, finalized in November, has been difficult to keep secret. Allen, who runs his own tattoo studio, noted that his pottery often begins as tattoo designs, and he was particularly surprised by his success in challenges like making plates, which he had limited prior experience with. The final episode aired on Sunday night, leading to an overwhelming response from friends, family, and fans.
