A 35-year-old female driver died at the scene of a fatal head-on collision on Staatsstraße St2056 near Pähl, Bavaria, on Friday evening, February 20th. The accident occurred around 5:45 PM when her car, traveling from Pähl, lost control for unknown reasons, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with a tractor driven by a 40-year-old man from Weßling. Despite the tractor driver's evasive maneuver, the impact was severe, trapping the woman in her vehicle. Firefighters extricated her, but she succumbed to her injuries. The tractor driver was uninjured, and the estimated property damage is around 40,000 Euros.
