Technische Probleme NASA verschiebt Start zum Mond erneut 22.02.2026

NASA has once again postponed the launch of its Artemis II mission, the first crewed flight to the Moon since 1972, due to technical issues. A problem with the helium supply in one of the rocket stages has necessitated the return of the nearly 100-meter-long rocket and Orion spacecraft to the hangar at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for potential repairs. This delay means the planned March launch window is no longer feasible. The mission, which aims to send astronauts Christina Koch, Victor Glover, Reid Wiseman, and Jeremy Hansen on a ten-day lunar orbit, was previously delayed from an early February target due to hydrogen leaks. The next available launch window is anticipated to be in early April, with Artemis II serving as a precursor to the Artemis III lunar landing mission scheduled for 2028.
