Ukraine-Krieg im Liveticker: +++ 20:51 Bericht: Thailand wird zum Handelsdrehkreuz für russische Drohnen +++ 19.02.2026

Thailand has emerged as a significant transit hub for Chinese-manufactured drones destined for Russia, with exports to Russia surging since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022. Trade data reveals that Russia imported $125 million worth of drones from Thailand in the first eleven months of 2025, an eightfold increase from the previous year, accounting for 88% of Thailand's total drone exports. Concurrently, China exported $186 million in drones to Thailand, nearly matching its total imports. Skyhub Technologies Ltd., a Bangkok-based firm, is identified as a major importer of these Chinese drones, including models like the EVO Max 4T, which, though marketed for civilian use, are reportedly adapted for battlefield deployment in Ukraine.
