The Catholic Church warned about the rise of addictions in Argentina and demanded coordinated action between the State, civil society, religious communities, and territorial organizations to address this issue, which particularly affects young people. The demand was made during the II Archdiocesan Congress on Addictions, held at the Catholic University of Córdoba on June 25 and 26, with more than 500 registrants and multisectoral participation, including national, provincial, and municipal officials, legislators, mental health specialists, researchers, and community leaders.
