The District Prosecutor's Office in Varna has brought criminal charges against a 70-year-old man, a former employee of the 'Primorski' district of the Varna Municipality. He has been detained for 72 hours and is charged with a document-related crime committed between May and July 2023. The accusation is that he drafted official documents—certificates of construction tolerance—in which he certified false circumstances. According to the prosecution, he falsely stated that 20 residential buildings of various sizes had been constructed on three land plots in the 'Baba Alino' area prior to March 31, 2001.
