During a blitz control in Parliament, Prime Minister Rumen Radev responded to a question from Member of Parliament Angel Yanchev of 'Vazrazhdane' regarding the introduction of the subject 'Virtues and Religions'. Radev stated that the government has the full support of the Holy Synod for the actions taken and the intention to introduce the new school subject. He explained that a serious public discussion must be conducted within one year, and all textbooks for the subject 'Virtues' must be developed, so that it can be introduced in the 2027/2028 school year.
