The She Is Foundation has launched the ‘She Is Artemis’ program, in collaboration with NASA's Space Academy Camp, to take young Colombian women to the Kennedy Space Center in October 2026. Inspired by Christina Koch's lunar mission and the SLS rocket launch for Artemis II, the program will offer participants a seven-day immersion in Orlando, Florida. Activities will include space exploration training, robotics and programming challenges, entrepreneurship project development, talks with astronauts and NASA professionals, and access to zero-gravity simulators. The young women will also enjoy visits to Universal Studios and Disney, and share experiences with other Latin American participants, culminating in their graduation as mission astronauts. The program is designed to strengthen the STEM skills of aspiring candidates, who must possess a valid U.S. visa and availability to travel.
