Three individuals and České dráhy indicted over cable car crash on Ještěd 03.07.2026

The Regional State Prosecutor's Office in Liberec has filed charges against three individuals and a legal entity in connection with the cable car accident on Ještěd that occurred in October 2021. Kamil Látr, Deputy District State Prosecutor, confirmed that the indictment was submitted to the District Court in Liberec on June 30. The accused face charges of endangering the general public through negligence under Section 273 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum penalty of ten years' imprisonment.
