Toulouse. Procès en appel de Cédric Jubillar : voici quand il devrait repasser devant les juges 19.02.2026

Cédric Jubillar, who was sentenced to thirty years in prison for the murder of his wife Delphine in the first instance, will face a new trial in September 2026. His lawyers appealed the October 2025 conviction, and the public prosecutor also appealed, necessitating a retrial within one year of the initial sentencing. The appeal proceedings are scheduled to commence on either September 21 or September 28, 2026, and will take place in Toulouse, unlike the first trial which was held in Albi. Jubillar will be represented by his new lawyer, Me Pierre Debuisson, and will face a panel of nine jurors and three magistrates, requiring at least eight out of twelve votes for a guilty verdict. The appeal trial is expected to last four weeks.
