French cyclist Paul Seixas, aged 19, secured a dominant victory in the second stage of the Tour de l'Algarve, held in the southern Portugal region. Seixas outpaced renowned competitors Juan Ayuso and João Almeida on the Alto da Foia climb, showcasing impressive form in his first race of the season. While Seixas led the pace, he did not create significant gaps, with Oscar Onley finishing four seconds behind and Matthew Riccitello six seconds back.
