Paul Seixas narrowly missed his first professional stage race victory at the Tour de l’Algarve, finishing second overall by just 14 seconds. The 19-year-old French cyclist, riding for Decathlon CMA-CGM, had won the second stage and attempted to close the gap on leader Juan Ayuso on the final stage's sole climb. Despite his efforts, Seixas couldn't create a decisive difference and ultimately finished behind Ayuso, who secured the win. João Almeida of UAE completed the podium in a competitive field that included notable riders like Kévin Vauquelin and Florian Lipowitz. Julian Alaphilippe was part of an early breakaway in the final stage but was caught by the peloton before the finish.
