A 50-year-old German tourist, who disappeared on February 14th, was found deceased on February 20th in Matavenero, El Bierzo, Spain, after a six-day search. A Guardia Civil helicopter located her body in a ravine near a remote hippie village. Rescue specialists from GREIM Sabero assisted in the recovery, which was complicated by heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures. The woman was last seen in the Castrillo del Monte area. Her body was transported to Bembibre for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, and an investigation has been initiated by the Guardia Civil, though no foul play is currently suspected.
