Train traffic currently halted in several locations in Skåne 07.07.2026

SMHI has issued a yellow weather warning for Skåne this Tuesday due to strong winds and heavy rain, which has caused significant disruptions to train traffic. Several routes have been heavily affected, including the traffic between Karlskrona and Kristianstad and between Helsingborg and Eslöv, where trains are stationary and replaced by buses. Traffic between Hässleholm and Sösdala is also interrupted due to an electrical fault, which is expected to last until 06:00 Wednesday morning. Furthermore, electrical faults have affected traffic between Ramlösa and Påarp, leading to canceled departures despite traffic being resumed during Tuesday evening. Several trees have fallen across roads in the region, and emergency services have assisted Trafikverket with cutting down trees. According to Trafikverket's forecast, regular train traffic is expected to be able to resume early Wednesday morning after the weather and technical faults have stabilized.
