At the telecom center at the station, the last so-called EWSD system was decommissioned, a symbolic step that completes the transition to a fully digital All-IP network. Since January 17, all customers have been on the new system, and for them, practically nothing will change. Telephone calls will continue to function normally; only the underlying technology has been modernized. The old copper lines are being gradually removed from the network, recycled, and replaced by fiber-optic technology. Currently, fiber-optic coverage has reached 93 percent across the country.
