Kazakhstan is actively intensifying its fight against transnational drug crime, which is increasingly extending beyond state borders. Since the beginning of 2026, law enforcement agencies have seized 2.7 tons of narcotics and more than 12 tons of precursors from illegal circulation. During the same period, over 3,000 drug-related crimes and offenses were identified, and the activities of six organized crime groups were suppressed, two of which operated across several countries. Additionally, four foreigners transporting 110 kg of mephedrone were detained.
