À Trégunc, un appel aux bénévoles pour secourir la faune sauvage 20.02.2026

Following a series of severe storms that have caused significant casualties among seabirds along the coastlines of Trégunc and Névez in Finistère, the municipality is amplifying an appeal from the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO). Residents are urged to volunteer as "rapatrieurs" (transporters) to aid injured wild animals. This initiative involves using personal vehicles to transport distressed wildlife, such as puffins found stranded on beaches like Kerlaeren, to specialized wildlife rescue centers, including the LPO station on Île Grande and the Piafs center in Languidic. Volunteers will be provided with training and guidance on safe handling practices, with the option to complete partial transport routes.
