Three individuals have been brought before an investigating judge following their arrest in connection with the November 24th kidnapping and home invasion of a business executive in the Gard region. The victim, CEO of Bastide Médical, was abducted outside his company in Caissargues and forced to lead the perpetrators to his home in Nîmes. There, he and his 22-year-old son were assaulted, while a 17-year-old son alerted the authorities. The assailants stole luxury items, including watches, valued at approximately one million euros, and fled in the victim's Porsche, which was later found burned. The investigation is proceeding on charges of organized kidnapping to facilitate a crime, armed organized theft, and destruction by dangerous means.
