Tropical Storm ‘Gardo’ enters PAR 25.06.2026

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that Tropical Storm Gardo, internationally named Higos, entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026. According to the 5 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, the storm was last estimated 1,400 kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon, moving northwestward at 45 kilometers per hour. Gardo carried maximum sustained winds of 85 kph near its center and gustiness of up to 105 kph. No tropical cyclone wind signal has been raised for any area.
