U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials say they are on track, having added roughly 80 miles of new primary wall since last year, with plans for an additional 695 miles of primary and 608 miles of secondary wall. CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott stated the project is “ahead of schedule and below budget,” citing a $46.5 billion allocation from Congress.
