John Gannon, a 75-year-old Texas businessman and lifelong Republican, expressed deep regret for voting for President Trump after his fiancée, Yasmin Suarez Reyes, was arrested by ICE at Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport in late July. Gannon and Suarez Reyes were planning to travel to Las Vegas for a furniture convention when she was detained by plainclothes agents. "They are picking up law-abiding citizens. They're destroying families, jobs," Gannon told CBS News, criticizing the administration's immigration enforcement tactics.
