** Wolfgang Grupp, the long-time CEO of the textile company Trigema from Burladingen, is drawing clear personal conclusions after his publicly disclosed suicide attempt nearly a year ago. He has surrendered his revolver, which he owned for security reasons; his son now keeps it under lock and key. Grupp also returned his hunting license. In a letter to former employees in July 2025, he explained that after handing over the company to his children in 2024, he suffered from age-related depression and felt superfluous. He is now taking medication, continues to work for the company with less responsibility, and has published his biography. He was particularly moved by the solidarity of over 2,000 people with similar experiences.
