U2 sort un EP avec des titres dénonçant les actions de Poutine et Trump 18.02.2026

Irish rock band U2 has released a new five-track EP, "Days of Ash," their first new material since 2017, preceding a full album slated for late 2026. The EP, described by Bono as "songs of defiance, consternation, and lamentation," directly addresses contemporary political tensions and conflicts. Notably, "Yours Eternally" focuses on the war in Ukraine, featuring Ukrainian soldier Taras Topolia, with a video set for release on the fourth anniversary of the Russian invasion. "American Obituary" references the death of Renee Good, killed by an ICE agent deployed during Donald Trump's administration. The EP, which also includes a contribution from Ed Sheeran, continues U2's legacy of politically engaged music, responding to current events and the fight for freedom.
