His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has awarded the First Class Order of Independence to Maria Camilleri Calleja, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the UAE. This prestigious honor recognizes her significant contributions to strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations across various sectors. Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, presented the award during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters. The UAE reaffirmed its dedication to further enhancing ties with Malta, while Ambassador Camilleri Calleja expressed her gratitude for the cooperation received, which facilitated the success of her mission and commended the progress in UAE-Malta relations.
