The golf association at Omaha Beach, near Bayeux, is hosting its first-ever paragolf discovery morning on March 18, 2026, at their Port-en-Bessin-Huppain location. This event aims to welcome individuals with motor, mental, or cognitive disabilities, demonstrating that golf is accessible to everyone. Building on the momentum of the 2024 Paralympic Games, the French Golf Federation and the Omaha Beach association are eager to promote the sport. Paragolf closely mirrors traditional golf in rules and practice, requiring no significant adaptations. The session, running from 9 AM to 12 PM, will be supervised by two professional instructors and a dozen volunteers, catering to all ages and profiles, with participants able to engage for 30 minutes to three hours.
