In its latest issue, Govah magazine has published excerpts from the unpublished memoirs of Martyr Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. Narrated in his own words, these memoirs cover various aspects of the martyr leader's life, from his seminary years to the era of struggle against the Pahlavi regime. In these memoirs, he discusses being born in 1318 in a clerical family in Mashhad, beginning his studies of Islamic sciences before completing elementary school, and his father's stance toward the Pahlavi regime.
