Unterstützt von Greta Thunberg: Hilfsflotte will Hilfsgüter nach Kuba bringen 02.03.2026

An international aid flotilla, supported by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, plans to deliver essential supplies to Cuba amidst a severe energy and economic crisis. The convoy, organized by a coalition of unions, aid groups, parliamentarians, and activists, is scheduled to reach Havana on March 21st. The initiative, named "Nuestra América," aims to provide much-needed food, medicine, and vital goods to communities facing acute shortages exacerbated by intensified US sanctions. Thunberg expressed her support, citing the critical need for aid in Cuba and the importance of international solidarity against "imperial" political actions. The crisis in Cuba has worsened due to the cessation of oil deliveries from Venezuela, prompted by US intervention.
