James Al Alcayde Serono, a graduate of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, has topped the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3,004 out of 9,745 examinees passed the exam, which was administered across various locations in the Philippines. Serono achieved a rating of 91.17%. UP Diliman also emerged as the top-performing school, with 53 of its 54 candidates passing the rigorous examination. The PRC noted that the results for eight examinees were withheld pending further investigation into their liabilities.
