UP officially opens the 26th edition of the Prishtina International Summer University 07.07.2026

The University of Prishtina today opened the 26th edition of the Prishtina International Summer University (PISU), welcoming approximately 350 students from Kosovo and various countries around the world. Rector Prof. Arben Hajrullahu emphasized that PISU is the primary promoter of UP's internationalization, serving as a platform for academic development and intercultural cooperation. The ceremony was attended by the Acting Deputy Minister of Education, Përparim Kryeziu, and other representatives. Over the course of two weeks, participants will attend 19 courses and 12 international workshops, as well as cultural activities including the UPWard Student Film Festival and the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the USA. PISU continues to be a key international program of UP, creating a meeting space for cultures and ideas.
