The US military has denied claims by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that it targeted the US Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain with missiles and drones. According to the US Central Command, Iran launched ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors, but all failed to reach their targets. Two missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart, while three missiles aimed at Bahrain were intercepted by US and Bahraini forces. In response to these attempted attacks, US forces conducted strikes on Qeshm Island, neutralizing multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones. Bahrain's interior ministry confirmed a warning siren sounded, advising residents to seek safety, and Kuwait's military reported responding to missile and drone attacks.
