Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei declared the assets would be used with “absolute liberty,” while Ambassador Ali Bahreini said Tehran alone decides how to spend them. This disagreement highlights ongoing tensions despite negotiations to end the Middle East conflict.
