Usno suspends 6, removes Supreme Council appointees amid internal crisis 05.05.2026

Usno president Pandikar Amin Mulia has suspended six party members and removed several Supreme Council appointees to address an escalating internal crisis. The suspended members include deputy president Ibrahim Linggam, Ahmad Kanajaan, Hussin Ibnu Hassan, Hafeiz Hussin, Sazali Justi, and Sallehudin Kasau, pending disciplinary board investigations into constitutional breaches. Additionally, six Supreme Council members for the 2025–2028 term, including Abdul Lalih Abah and Dr. Masjidin Moksan, were terminated for allegedly undermining party stability. This turmoil follows the party's controversial decision to exit the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah coalition. Ibrahim Linggam publicly criticized Pandikar for making this withdrawal unilaterally, claiming widespread opposition. Pandikar maintains these actions are necessary to prevent chaos and ensure the party functions effectively during this period of significant political division.
