Kokoomus valitsee tällä viikolla uuden sosiaaliturvaministerin, sillä nykyinen ministeri Sanni Grahn-Laasonen jää perhevapaalle. Grahn-Laasonen tiedotti asiasta sosiaalisessa mediassa ja kertoi, että ministerinvaihdos tapahtuu virallisesti ensi viikon tiistaina 16. kesäkuuta. Hän on jo lääkärin suosituksesta keventänyt työtaakkaansa, ja joitain tehtäviä hoidetaan sijaisjärjestelyin. Grahn-Laasonen palaa tehtäväänsä vuodenvaihteessa. Pääministeri Petteri Orpo ei ole vielä paljastanut, kuka tulee hänen tilalleen. Ennakkoon tehtävään on huhuttu muun muassa Karoliina Partasta, joka valittiin hiljattain kokoomuksen ensimmäiseksi varapuheenjohtajaksi.
